As a massage therapist, neuromuscular therapist and yoga teacher since 1982, I am committed to helping others explore and understand themselves through their body.  I believe that becoming educated myself enhances my capacity to facilitate this process, and to resonate with each person as an individual.

My practice is oriented toward helping people release pain through analysis of physical structure and application of various healing touch and movement modalities. In addition to my initial training in Swedish and Deep tissue MassageI am certified in Neuromuscular Therapy – St. John Method, licensed in Maryland and Washington, DC, and have studied and currently practice Manual Lymphatic DrainageSports MassageMyoskeletal Alignment and Prenatal Massage.  I teach Yoga classes and provide individual yoga therapy using the Iyengar method, characterized by attention to the details of postures, and the use of props to make poses more accessible and to encourage a more healthy experience of yoga.
